Edward Lamont Hadley is a native of St. Louis, Missouri. As a child, Lamont
would step around the house using a belt buckle as a microphone while
singing songs of such artists as O Jays, Temptations, Four Tops and the
Whispers.
He started his singing career at an early age singing with a variety of
local singing groups. He was appointed to represent his High School in
the Southwestern Bell Teen Talent Show Extravaganza at the Fox Theatre
in St. Louis.
Lamont became a member of Rare Form and shared the stage which artists
such as Barbara Mandrell, Kenny Rogers and Sherl Crow at the Grand Opera
Land in Nashville, TN.
In 1989, Lamont became a member St. Louis legendary singing group call "The
Masters Touch". This was the beginning of his childhood dream, an all
male singing group in which he initiated as a kid. Over the years, this
singing group performed in Las Vegas at the Flamingo Casino, the
Peppermill Casino in Reno and Mesquite.
Missouri-native singer Charlie Vaughn fell in love with a variety of music as a child and began his musical journey with St. Louis Legendary rhythm and blues singing group "The Master Touch".
His smooth, sultry and seductive voice is often compared to the Maestro
himself, Barry White. Recently, during an opening performance for Will
Downing, music critic Kevin Johnson of the St. Louis Post Dispatch wrote,
"If concert goers closed their eyes, they could mistake Vaughn for
Downing himself".
Vaughn is an original member of LLC and brings a style and vibrant
approach that allows him to embrace the power of music with boundless
passion. In addition, Vaughn has collaborated with forces such as the O
Jays, Boyz II Men, Theo Peoples, Howard Hewitt, Freddie Jackson and
Jesse Campbell.
St. Louis native Larry Borders was inspired at a young age by such groups as Blue Magic, The Whispers, Stylistics and the Temptations. Larry began his singing career in 1983 with St. Louis legendary singing group "The Masters Touch".
Larry brought a unique style and range with his falsetto, first and
second tenor. While a member of the Master Touch, Larry had the pleasure
and honor of opening for such acts as the O Jays, Will Downing, The
Dells, Freddie Jackson and the Enchantment.
Larry along with two former members of The Master Touch, Lamont Hadley
and Charles Vaughn formed the new sensational singing group named LLC in
March of 2001.
Darren Smith is a Missouri native and fell in love with music at a very early age, embracing rhythm & blues, jazz, gospel and classical music. His curiosity, desire and termination have allowed him the opportunity of work and study with various local and influential artists.
He began performing professionally as a member of the sensational group
LLC in 2002 singing second tenor and baritone. Darren has had the
pleasure of opening for such artists as Will Downing and Freddie Jackson.
Darren's primary objective is to be known as one of the most humble and
hard working men in show business.
